Blogging in Edinburgh

Hello friends and readers!

I’ve just arrived in Edinburgh for the Edinburgh Book Festival (Have a look at the cool people who are involved) which I may have bragged about already. If not, then let me tell you it is the writer’s writers festival, full of amazing, literary people discussing all sorts of books on a wide range of topics.

During my twelve days here I will be hearing from literary luminaries including: Colm Tóibín, Hilary Mantel, Patrick Ness, Ali Smith, Nathan Englander, Junot Díaz, Ian McEwan, Howard Jacobson and many more. You may have noticed some of these authors cropping up in my recent posts. Now you know why! Unless I already told you, which I probably did.

So from now on I’ll be trying to update more regularly. Check back in every two or three days to get all the latest goss. Tomorrow I’ll be hanging out with (aitting quietly and listening to) with Sally Gardner and Celia Rees and Colm FREAKING Tóibín.
